These handbound books are artfully crafted using vibrant handprinted textiles, rescued from landfill from the garment industry.
Each book is a unique piece, featuring intricate patterns and rich colors. The textile covers have been dyed with indigo, batik and natural dyes.
The pages are made of top-quality acid-free paper, specially selected for sketching and light washes of ink or water colour. Each page has been hand torn with a traditional book knife, leaving a soft edge.
The exposed spine is sewn delicately with fine linen, allowing the book to open fully so that sketching, drawing or writing is uninterrupted. These sewing patterns could only be achieved by hand sewing, so you’ll know that these books could never have been created by a machine!
