These one-off sketchbooks are a very limited collection of hand printed book babies, carefully crafted in my Glasgow studio.

Each sketchbook features 140gsm paper, specifically chosen for its exceptional quality and versatility. This paper will accommodate pencil, ink, watercolour and charcoals. Each one has been section sewn, allowing it to effortlessly lay flat when opened.

The covers are bound in a unique cyanotype-printed bookcloth, showcasing an overlayed peacock feather pattern. Cyanotype printing is an ancient photographic technique utilized for centuries. The bookcloth has been coated in a custom blend of light-sensitive chemicals, meticulously hand-mixed. Once applied, the cloth was exposed to UV light, capturing the intricate beauty of peacock feathers.
